Nuclear Energy

It is an energy released from the nuclei of atoms when they split or combine.It is also known as atomic energy.

Radiant Energy

It comes from the sun. It is a kind of kinetic energy because it travels through space to reach the earth. You can see it as light coming from the sun. It is made up of heat and light energy.

 

Electrical Energy

It is a kind of kinetic energy produced when the particles of matter align with one another and move smoothly in certain types of matter. it has many uses in peoples homes and in the community.

 

Sound Energy

It is a kind of kinetic energy produced when an object vibrates. An object vibrates when it moves back and forth rapidly.

Light Energy

It differs form other forms of energy. It can leave the material from which it comes, shoot through space or through air and cause changes in nearby or faraway matter.

Mechanical Energy

It is the energy produces by moving bodies. It is a kind of kinetic energy. Any object that moves produces mechanical energy. A running car, the wind, flowing water, waves in the ocean, and falling leaves produce mechanical energy.

Chemical Energy

It is a stored energy.  It is found in food, in fuels like gasoline, oil, and coal; in dynamites; in dry cells; and in wet cells. 
To use chemical energy, it has to be changed into other forms of energy first. your body digests the food that you eat and changes it into energy. this energy is used by your body in performing your daily activities.
